Westerplatte Clematis

Description
These large, rich, velvety red blooms have dark red stamens and add fantastic color to arbors and pergolas. Due to genetics, some climates allow for sepals to form a tinted violet edging. For a regal effect, let this gorgeous climber ramble through a small trees or over shrubs. Adds a pop of color to a woodland garden, Westerplatte can also be planted in a container and trained to scramble up a trellis. Doubling the enjoyment, it blooms in spring and again in late summer giving you blooms through early fall. Deciduous. Clematis 'Westerplatte'
