Royal purple, trumpet-shaped flowers accented with a ruffled, golden edge truly make a statement in the summer garden. The resulting cross of purple Thunder and Lightning and the highly ruffled edges of Ida's Magic. 5 1/2-6" blooms on 24-28" stems; flowers early to midseason with reblooming later in the season. Ships bareroot. Hemerocallis 'Storm of the Century'.

Bare-root perennials, trees and shrubs are kept in the nursery row until full dormant. This promotes optimum transit conditions and success in your garden. In the Fall, these plants tend to arrive at the later end of the shipping window.

For trees and other oversize items, we do not ship to PO boxes and it will be delivered via FedEx Home delivery.

I have something that is reddish, but not even close to what is pictured. It actually looks sickly in color.
