Bright Bright Red

The pic DOES NOT capture the gorgeous bright red of this Rose. I tucked them next to my Knock Outs two totally different shades of Red. Very very pretty. Love Love Love the small vessels they come in, you don't have to dig a gigantic hole. Just use your trowel. Easy breezy. I will absolutely be ordering these again. If you have a small sunny empty spot in the middle or edge of your flower bed that could a little something or if want to start a whole new bed these are perfect. I may try em in a container next time.

I had these roses a few years ago, they were gorgeous, I had people stopping to ask were I had gotten them from. One really bad winter when we had a lot of standing water right at my roses took them out. I have been wanting to get more ever since.

I planted these roses when my son was still in a stroller ... he is now in college and the roses are still strong, radiant and admired by passers by. I would recommend these highly to any rose-enthusiast!

I just received and planted these yesterday so it is too early to tell how well they will grow. That being said, I have purchased many roses throughout the years from various stores and none of them compare to how healthy these were. My plants looked so good when I received them that I thought they were fake. So much so that I grabbed the stems to be sure they would prick me! I ordered 6 more today so I am hoping they come in just as healthy as these did!

I ordered 9 of these in August, planted along my driveway/centerline. Been though it's winter they h ave all grown & continue to grow!!! I'm so excited to see them come Spring & Summer!!! Also, with my original order, Springfield mistakenly sent me 9 of the miniature rose collection, at the time I was upset because the website said t h 1st were out of Red Freedom Roses, well, they promptly sent me my correct order & asked that I please recycle the miniatures! I put them in as a border in front of my Indian Hawthorne hedge and they are AWESOME!!!! It's January & they are still blooming with lots of buds ready to open!!! Thanks Springfield!!!!

Planted these last year in the spring. They grew and bloomed. The bloom size is nice and they are really red/red! One spot may be getting too much of our baking sun during the summer in Texas. Partial shade seems to be best in my location. I have received many compliments on the color. Doug .. Tx.

I purchased three of these four years ago, and have been pleasantly surprised with their performance. They are very hardy, and have needed minimal babying. One, which was in a shady corner, did develop black spot, which has been easy to treat. The other two haven't had a lick of it! The blooms aren't really fragrant, and this variety DOES have more thorns than the average rose, but I feel it's well worth it for such stunning plants. The roses keep VERY well as cut flowers, and even dry nicely! Don't let the picture here fool you; it has very lovely blooms that are just as rewarding to bring inside as they are to leave out for the neighbors to enjoy. I especially love the black tinge mine get around the edge of the flowers in early spring when we get a late surprise frost. These plants DO grow rather large, so expect to still prune them twice a year. I imagine they could be trained to climb, but don't quote me on that. They're certainly a great buy for novices or those wanting something that isn't terribly labor-intensive.
