Sea Foam Camellia

Description
Lightening up those shady spots in the landscape can be challenging… especially during the later months of the year. Luckily, we have the perfect solution—Sea Foam Camellia. This vigorous shrub is one of the most beautiful white varieties we've seen. In late fall to early spring, the plant is nearly covered in pure white, fully double blooms complemented nicely by large, glossy deep green foliage. It's quite a sight when in full bloom. Perfect for adding bright pops of light to darkened borders and woodland areas, but its showy flowers are also quite welcome in fresh floral arrangements and seasonal bouquets. Camellias are easy to grow and require little to no maintenance, producing flowers that are sure to become favorites both outdoors and in. Camellia japonica 'Sea Foam'

Camellias are the rose of winter in southern gardens, with their colorful blossoms held against deep rich green glossy foliage on a naturally upright to rounded evergreen shrub. Pick the flowers and float them in a bowl of water to bring their beauty indoors. Camellias prefer an acidic, humus rich soil with an organic mulch and average moisture. Once well-established they need little additional care and will continue to perform for years to come. Most Camellias do best where they get light shade or morning sun and the light filtered shade of pines seems to be perfect.
