Has never flowered

I've had this tree for six or seven years now. It is about 10' tall, and the trunk is about 4 in diameter. It buds out nicely every year with leaf buds, and is a beautiful, full tree, but it has never once gotten a flower bud. What a disappointment.

Bought this tree for my mom who lives in Michigan. She planted it in a pot and its doing well. My question is does she need to bring it in or can it remain out doors?

I love these trees! Would give a 5 if I'd have gotten at least one apple though. Bought 3 of them 3 years ago, only one came so I planted it...next season the other 2 came and planted them so now they're in the ground, growing fabulously, yet nary an apple! Hmmm they're in a short row to hide our abvgrnd pool from the street and doing that job very well but again no fruit. Not sure how long it should be, but even though they flowered every year, nada. I do love the look no matter though!

I have a very small yard and no room for a full size tree. These little trees are perfect for me. I have them in planters and they just look so pretty. They get full size apples too.

Amazed at the new growth

I just purchased this tree in April 2011. Just days after I had planted it in a pot, it started budding. It now has nice big green leafs up and down the tree. I was alittle bit surpized at how tall the tree was when it arrived. I am looking forward to see if any apples will form by Sept. So far, it has been an easy plant to take care of.
