Prairie Blues Little Bluestem

Description
Add texture, color and movement to your garden with easy-care Prairie Blues Little Bluestem ornamental grass. This is an improved selection of native bluestem that grew on the central North America. Prairie Blues' narrow, upright gray-blue leaves take on pink-orange tones in the fall. In late summer, fluffy silver seed heads appear and provide movement in the garden until fall. Drought tolerant, Prairie Blues Little Bluestem is a good ornamental grass for restoring an eroded site or in hot, dry areas. It will also enhance garden borders, cottage gardens and prairie settings. It looks good planted in small groupings or en masse.
