Tulipa 'Pacific Pearl'

Thanks to the 'Tulipomania' phenomenon that held Holland in thrall in the 17th century, many varieties of tulip were cultivated for showcasing in gardens both grand and small. Because of their overwhelming popularity, tulips that bore unique characteristics were very highly prized during that period. Even in today's market, gardeners seek out one-of-a-kind color combinations, forms and accents that will set their plantings apart from their neighbors. These Dutch flower bulbs are wonderful planted in groups for a dazzling presentation of bright color and distinctive beauty. Decorators love them, too. They make an eye-catching addition to bouquets and indoor arrangements.
