In late spring, up to 4" clusters of blooms open against a backdrop of glossy, dark green leaves. When planted in groups, the effect is impressive. Performs best when planted in partial shade. Grows 4-5' tall with a similar spread. Zones 5-9. Kalmia latifolia 'Olympic Fire'

The plants were healthy but while they were 1/3 the price of what I bought locally, they were 1/10 the size.
