Monterrey Frost Agave

Description
Ribbonlike, arching light green leaves are edged with creamy white margins, providing color and interest to patio containers. Unlike other agaves, Monterrey Frost Agave is a rare form of northern Mexican Agave that can tolerate some shade. A long-lived plant, it produces a 4-5' tall spike of fragrant, cream to yellow blossoms that attract hummingbirds at the end of its life cycle. Most agaves only flower once every 15-25 years, and the main crown dies after blooming. Ships in 3" pot. Agave bracteosa 'Monterrey Frost'
