Millenium Perennial Allium

Description
Feed all your senses with the uniquely wonderful blooms of Millenium Allium, awarded the 2018 PPA Perennial Plant of the Year. You'll love the large, rose-purple clusters of florets that form neat orbs in mid to late summer. Standing tall on straight, 15-20" stems, the flowers are upright and highly visible in borders, rockeries, even mixed container gardens. They make lovely additions to fresh floral arrangements and bouquets, too. Alliums are sweetly fragrant and attract butterflies and other beneficial pollinators to the garden, though deer are not tempted by their scent. Long, straplike foliage adds fullness to the plant without interfering with the clean lines of the stems and unusual flower form. Destined to become a summertime favorite in the landscape.
