Limelight Hydrangea

Description
Vigorous and upright, this impressive rounded-form shrub is covered in large clusters of creamy white florets that mature to chartreuse green in the midsummer weeks. As fall approaches, the dense flower panicles change to deep pink for an altogether different look. Sturdy stems keep the flower heads upright and visible through any kind of weather. Robust plants can reach a height of 13 feet and will be loaded with 8-12" flowers in no time. Perfect for a mass planting, mixed shrub border or as an anchor in a woodland garden. Does best in moist, but well-drained soil. Blooms on new wood—prune in late fall to early spring for increased flowering. 4" pot.

It's growing slower than expected

We have 50+ Limelights growing at work and I've always loved them so I ordered two for my home. They've been planted over 1 month and they have barely grown. They are green and alive but they are the same size as when I planted them. Otherwise, they look decent. One plant looks better than the other. It's been very dry in my zone 5 so I make sure they are watered regularly. I contacted Spring Hill to inform them of the poor growth, and they graciously sent me a replacement certificate for one of the plants.
