Phenomenal™ Lavender

A top performer in our trials, Phenomenal has become the standard by which other lavenders are measured. A hardy variety with extremely fragrant flower spikes that complement daylilies' grasslike foliage--as well as roses, peonies and other perennials--filling in the difficult spaces between. Exceptionally disease resistant—holds up to common root and foliar diseases. A darker color bloom than many other lavenders, Phenomenal is also able to take colder winters and hot, humid summers better than others. Great for drying and using in potpourris, this large hedging lavender adds a lovely barrier along fence lines or around unsightly areas of the landscape.
