Jerusalem Sage

Description
Unfazed by heat, this sun-loving Mediterranean native adds texture and butter yellow flowers to the summer landscape. Blooming from late spring to midsummer, the spikes of flowers add color to the garden and cut floral arrangements. Drought tolerant, deer and rabbit resistant, Jerusalem Sage is a good accent in the perennial garden, borders and containers. Butterflies love it. In zones 8-9, it is a shrubby evergreen, and in cooler climates, it tends to die back in winter and restart in spring. Grows 2-4' tall with a 3-5' spread.
