Rosie Posie Hummingbird Mint

Description
Hot pink flowers with purple calyxes. 18-22" tall, 26" wide. Agastache 'Rosie Posie' PPAF.

So compact and so colorful, you'll hardly recognize these two new selections as Agastache! They form dense, rounded plants with myriad flower spikes right at the top of the foliage, so the color impact is huge, and the garden presence is neat and compact. They'll look great for months, not only from the bright blooms of summer, but also from the richly hued calyxes that stay colorful through fall! Blessed with aromatic foliage and an easy-going nature, they tolerate heat, drought, even poor soil, as long as it is well-drained. And butterflies and hummingbirds love them! Zones 6-9. Full Sun. Deer tend to avoid. Ships in 3" Pot.

Because the calyxes are so colorful, this plant continues to look like it is blooming long after it is finished. In northern zones, it typically blooms from midsummer through early fall but in southern zones it starts blooming much earlier. Its aromatic, bright green foliage grows into a densely compact, ball-shaped clump, much more refined looking than older cultivars. This is one of the easiest perennials to grow; it is drought tolerant, deer resistant, and attracts butterflies and hummingbirds like crazy.
