Fortune's Cold Hardy Holly Fern

Description
The artful, handsome foliage on Fortune's Cold Hardy Holly Fern makes an exquisite backdrop for your shade-garden blooms. It'll keep the area interesting well into the colder seasons, and in warm climates it'll actually be evergreen. This cultivar forms into a nice light green clump, adding a unique shade, shape and texture to a mixed planting. It's a good companion to other green foliage plants like hostas or fernlike shade plants like astilbe. This holly fern is very easy to grow, it just needs partial shade and moist, well-drained soil.
