Danielle Vancouver™ Clematis

Description
This gracefully performing clematis takes the best from the varieties that were crossed to create it. Danielle has the rich, deep color of "The President" and the big, well-shaped flower form of "Violet Charm." The deeper color adds some depth to your garden's palette. The prettily overlapping sepals have a nice, defined texture, adding dimension to your display. Let it make a big splash in your garden climbing up a fence or trellis. This variety is from the Vancouver series. Collectors keep an eye out for this series, as they're difficult to find in the USA. They are bred from heritage genetics—classic styles, shapes and colors. However, as a new generation, they exhibit stronger disease resistance, free flowering and extraordinary garden performances. The modern, compact habits make it possible to feature them in container gardening. Clematis 'Danielle'

Danielle Vancouver™ Clematis is in the YELLOW pruning category. It blooms best on old wood, but it can also bloom on new wood. Use caution when pruning to retain healthy stems from last season for best flowering. See our Stoplight Pruning Guide for more information.
