Crocosmia Trio

Description
With such an unusual, extraordinary flower form, you'll never gloss over a crocosmia growing in any landscape. Because it's gaining popularity, a few fellow flower lovers in your neighborhood may try it in their yards this year—but three exquisite cultivars will absolutely set your garden apart. In our trio, we've included the much-loved Lucifer Crocosmia, which has won the Award of Garden Merit from the Royal Horticultural Society. Gold Rush's brilliant gold-and-bronze blooms last up to two weeks in a cut flower arrangement. Emily McKenzie is an unusual large-flowered variety that was achieved by crossing Crocosmia and Tritonia. With all three, there's a great architectural beauty to the gracefully arching stems. They'll draw the eye upward behind lower growing perennials, and in such sizzling colors, rejuvenate the mid to late summer garden. You should also snip a few stems for your indoor display, the distinctive form adds character in among more traditional cut-flower shapes. The dried seed pods are also very stylish for home décor, they still carry that lovely arching look. Crocosmia 'Emily McKenzie', 'Lucifer', 'Gold Rush'
