Créme de Cassis Hollyhock

Description
Charming variety will create a stunning color show in the back border. On a single stem, you'll find an unusual variation of blooms, including double, semi-double and single. The 4" raspberry red and black current flowers are edged in white and have striking yellow centers. Hollyhocks are a drought-tolerant garden classic and a favorite for cottage gardens and back borders. They attract hummingbirds and butterflies, while rabbit and deer tend to avoid them. These biennials will reseed and remain in the garden for years. Because they're heavy feeders, apply a generous amount of composted manure each spring. Ship in 3" pot. Alcea rosea 'Crème de Cassis'
