This latest cultivar from Szczepan Marczynski's collection blooms profusely from early to midsummer and continues moderately until fall. The 4-5" flowers have slightly wavy edges. This clematis can be used to create a cover, scramble up a arbor, trellis or other support. Clematis 'Cloudburst'
Planting InstructionsPlant in plenty of sun in moist, well-drained soil. Dig hole at least 12 inches deep. First set of leaves should be even with surface of soil. If growing up a fence or wall, be sure to plant at least 18 inches away.
Winter CareApply a winter mulch, after the ground freezes, in areas where plants may heave from the ground due to alternate freezing and thawing temperatures. Remove most of the mulch in early spring, but keep 2-3" to keep the ground moist and shaded.
