Wildfire Clematis

Description
Outstanding clematis adds rich, vibrant color to any fence, arbor or trellis. Wildfire's 6-8" flowers first show a more magenta color, and become this gorgeous, heavily saturated violet tone with age. Because it features a bright red bar down the center of each petal, it looks like there's a star inside each bloom. This variety boasts a long bloom time—starting with its big flush on last year's growth in early summer and producing a smaller flush of new growth in late summer to early fall. Wildfire Clematis is useful for directing visitors around your garden, because you can trail it up an arch at the entrance to your garden, like putting up a beautiful, flowering signpost. Growing vertically also means it doesn't take much room, so it's perfect for creating high impact in a small space. Clematis 'Wildfire'
