An extravagant abundance of nicely rounded, 4-5" flowers open deep salmon and lighten to a delightful coral pink, often with a touch of purple in the center! Blooms first in late spring/early summer and again in late summer on new wood, especially if trimmed after the first bloom. Likes humusy, well-drained soil with a heavy mulch. Prune the 7-9' vine to 10-12" in late winter. Deer tend to avoid. Clematis 'Little Mermaid'.
