Introducing a newcomer that is sure to make a name for itself in the gardening world—Celestial Night™. This fabulous Floribunda type was bred from Ebb Tide, that wonderfully productive purple rose that is still popular today. But what Ebb Tide lacked in disease resistance, Celestial Night has in spades. Very rare in a purple variety, it displays resistance to the diseases that can plague rose growers and cause reduced flower production and shorter blooming periods. With Celestial Night, you get an abundance of big, double ruffled blooms of deep plum-purple on a hardy, rounded plant. In fact, the roses are so full and vibrant, they can easily be seen from a distance. Its pleasing, subtle fragrance makes it an exceptional landscape rose. Also makes a superb addition to fresh arrangements. Bred by Christian Bedard. Rosa cv. 'WEKebtigrad' PPAF
Watering RequirementRoses prefer a thorough watering but do not like 'wet feet'. Water early in the day to avoid wet conditions into the night which can cause issues with fungus and disease.
PruningPrune to maintain shape and increase branching once established. Remove any dead or damaged branches. Shape plants at any time.
Unique CharactersticsExcellent purple color and bloom production. Looks just like Ebb Tide, but much more disease resistant (which is difficult for purples) and floriferous. Rounded habit and dark green glossy foliage make this an excellent landscape rose.
