Bumbleberry Pie Dianthus

Description
Dianthus are usually used in border planting for their masses of spicy-scented, deer-resistant blooms over a lush mound of foliage. And of course, you can use this improved variety as a border feature that brings in butterflies and other beneficial pollinators. But now, with large blooms up to 2" across, a unique color combination, an intoxicating fragrance and strong stems, Bumbleberry Pie is a fresh find for interior decorating, too. The plant puts out a wealth of blooms from early summer to early fall, so you'll have plenty to keep both the garden and home bright. Although just a few blooms in a vase on the end table make a charming accent. You can also pot this dianthus for a sunny patio. It grows easily and is drought tolerant once established.
