Black Hills Spruce

Description
Planting Black Hills Spruce means cultivating something for future generations—this variety typically lives 250–300 years. It grows slowly, and tolerates many conditions others can't—wind, heat, cold, drought and being crowded. It's beautiful in both urban and rural landscapes, growing 30–50' tall with a dense covering of green to blue–green needles. Black Hills Spruce is the ideal windbreak, privacy screen or specimen tree. You can get it started in your garden this summer, we're shipping it now, garden–ready in a gallon–sized pot. Picea glauca 'Densata'
